Almost from the start of production (from the rear axle 5500230), 190SL were completely equipped with cooled drums. Drums without radial ribs can be an indication of a ponton axle, the rear axle may be fitted with narrower jaws in this case. Brake shoes were replaced by the type "W180 " in the "W110 " type, which should be done by the axle and the retension springs must fit.
