The T50 is an early development of the vacuum brake booster and was from VIN 6501956 standard equipment in the 190SL. Due to the location - independent installation (no mechanical connection to the pedal system or main brake cylinder), the retrofitting to earlier 190SL was popular and possible in RHD vehicles as well, however, the brake pipe position and main brake cylinder type have to fit. For limousines (up to W111) almost identical brake devices are placed at the front left in the engine compartment, as used parts are difficult to identify, comparing with the 190SL versions (e.g., length working cylinders). Known MB part numbers for T50 are 000 430 1230, 000 430 1430, 000 430 2130, to the latest version, ATE and MB Classic Center initiated a new edition after a long delivery gap.
